The Embodied 8:
our 200-hour
eight limbs teacher training

An intensive 18 day commitment to your practice, learning to teach from the foundational

eight limbs of yoga.

July 7-26, 2025

with Kelly Elle Kenworthy and guest LYS Teachers

intelligent, safe,
& trauma-informed

Our comprehensive 200-hour teacher training is a perfect foundation for those who want to deepen their practice, connect & learn in community, and begin their steps to teaching the practice to others.

We believe your own personal practice and education is paramount prior to teaching, and this 8-month commitment will not just ground you, but will also allow you to ground with your future students.

You will emerge from this training with a new way to live and behave in this life. Inevitably, the practice fosters a certain kind of understanding of ourselves. That is the nature of the practice. Ultimately, we will be working with the tools to unpack ourselves as we learn the fundamentals.

faq's

  • You will be evaluated, verbally and in writing, on the material presented throughout the training program. While these evaluations are designed to determine where you need additional study or support, your certification is not contingent upon these evaluations. The practice-teach sessions are the deciding factor whether or not a student will pass the course and graduate. Being able to successfully and safely deliver a complete Vinyasa Yoga class to a group of your fellow students is also a requirement for certification.

  • Each day there will be reading assignments to support your learning within the program. The amount of time this reading takes will depend upon the assignment and the individual. There may also be time needed outside of program time to prepare for your practice-teach sessions.

  • For the 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training, our curriculum is predefined and comprehensive: it needs to be completed in its entirety at The Little Yoga Studio in order for you to become certified. The transfer of credit or hours from other programs towards this training is not allowed.

  • Yes! All classes and selected events at The Little Yoga Studio are included in your tuition.

Thank you so much for taking the time to make this all happen. We look forward to connecting with you.

As soon as we receive your application, we will be reaching out via email for a phone "interview" (aka a conversation) to learn more about you and your practice, and what you hope to achieve from the program, and discuss next steps.
