Sanskrit & Spirit: Discovering the Language of Yoga with Mary & Trevor

Sanskrit is the language of yoga. This workshop will offer yoga students and teachers an introduction to basic pronunciation while building a relationship with the sounds and deeper meanings. We hope you will be inspired by the richness of Sanskrit, the perfection of its grammar, the structure of the alphabet, and the precision and flow of the sounds. We will use the alphabet, simple mantras, and asana names to engage with the language. You will get a glimpse into Sanskrit as a sacred medium for expressing the highest spiritual truths. No experience necessary!
